Coach Natalie Bach-Prather talked about the excitement of competing in the ASC Championship Meet after running all season. “I’m excited to see how they perform,” said Coach Prather. They’ve worked really hard. I can honestly say this is the most mileage we’ve put in throughout our program, which means these kids are a lot stronger and a lot healthier. So I’m looking forward to some really good times. We do have several individuals who have the possibility of making it to regionals. I’m hoping that we see a good day from them and we’re just hoping for the best.”
Last season, ETBU took fourth place in the ASC Championship meet. Durham (30:54.99), Mendez (31:08.30), and Billings (31:19.73) finished 32nd through 34th in the race. For their performances at the meet, those three qualified for the NCAA Regionals.
The ASC Championship meet starts this Saturday at 8:00 am.
