AWARD | A&T | ETBU Has Six Student-Athletes Named All-Tournament

MEQUON, Wis. – For the second year in a row, the East Texas Baptist University acrobatics and tumbling team participated in day three of the NCATA Division III National Tournament’s final events. This year, ETBU was in three events and had six student-athletes named All-Tournament. 

ETBU participated in Sychronized Pyramid, Duo Pass, and Aerial Pass. Only three teams were selected for the events. There were 15 events on the final day. 

Ellie Davis and Katie Melton were named to the NCATA Division III All-Tournament first team for their efforts in the select events. 

Earning NCATA Division III All-Tournament second team honors were Macie Goff, Brianna Brown, Jaiden Stroman, and Jessica Kuhlman. 

ETBU finished the year with four wins after defeating both Stevenson University and Buffalo State on day two in a tri-meet. The four wins are the most in program history and top the three wins from last year.
