AWARD | ASC | ETBU's Mosley Named ASC Woman of the Year

MARSHALL, Texas – One of the best student-athletes to have a career in the American Southwest Conference, East Texas Baptist University’s Graycee Mosley has been named the 2026 Woman of the Year adding this to her 2025-26 ASC Female Athlete of the Year award. She is the sixth female student-athlete to earn both awards in the same year and is the third time in five years that ETBU has received the ASC Woman of the Year award.

Graycee has not only left her mark on Tiger Volleyball, but also at ETBU, the ASC, and the NCAA with her many accolades and record-breaking career. Her dominance on the court has been truly remarkable to watch, as well as her commitment to her faith and a reflection of the excellence we strive for at East Texas Baptist University.

Mosley graduated in December with a Biochemistry degree and a 4.00 grade point average. She is a three-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-American selection making the First Team, twice, and voted the 2025 NCAA Division III Volleyball Academic All-America of the Year earning the Elite Scholar-Athlete award at the National Championship Tournament. The four-time AVCA All-American, being named a First Team recipient in 2025, is the only ASC volleyball student-athlete to be named the Most Valuable Player four times and is the ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete winner, twice.

I am incredibly proud of Graycee for being named ASC Woman of the Year. Graycee worked tirelessly on and off the court during her four years in the ETBU volleyball program. She has been a leader on the court, in the classroom and spiritually for our team. She is someone who has always put the team first and does what it takes to be a champion.

This year, she guided ETBU to their finest season in program history as the Tigers won a program best 34 matches and produced program firsts in winning the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament, being the overall No. 1 seed and playing in the NCAA Division III National Championships Tournament, and post a 34-match winning streak. ETBU also won their third straight ASC Tournament Championship.

Service has been a strong part of Mosley’s career helping in the East Texas are. She has volunteered locally at several organizations, including Marshall ISD, where she has helped with the Fall Festival and Morning High 5’s, served as a volunteer PE teacher, and read at the Elementary schools. At Longview's New Beginnings Church, she volunteered at the Back-to-School Bash and the For the City Project. Her time in Marshall has also included Mission Marshall, Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine, a Mission Trip to Chile, ETBU Serve Day, several Special Needs Nights for volleyball, volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club, and serving as a Pen Pal for Compassion International.

Academically, she made the President’s List all four years, was in the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was the Outstanding Graduating Senior for the ETBU Chemistry Department.

Mosley leaves ETBU as the All-Time kills leader with 2,032 and finished the year fourth in the NCAA in total kills (532), 10th in kills per set (4.59), and 16th in total attacks (1,236).

Graycee Mosley | East Texas Baptist | Senior | Volleyball

East Texas Baptist University's Graycee Mosley has been named the 2025-26 American Southwest Conference Woman of the Year.

A biology graduate with a perfect 4.00 GPA, Mosley graduated summa cum laude and earned national and conference recognition for her academic achievements throughout her collegiate career. She was named the 2025 CSC Academic All-America of the Year for Division III Volleyball, a two-time CSC Academic All-American, three-time CSC Academic All-District selection and recipient of the NCAA Division III Volleyball Elite Scholar-Athlete Award. Mosley also earned the ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Award in volleyball twice, was a four-time ASC All-Academic selection, and was recognized on the President's List during all four undergraduate years.

On the court, Mosley finished her career as ETBU's all-time leader with 2,032 kills while recording 1,613 digs and 2,254.5 career points. During the 2025 season, she totaled 532 kills, ranking fourth nationally in Division III, while helping lead the Tigers to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight, the program's first No. 1 overall NCAA Tournament seed, NCAA Regional Championship, and a third consecutive ASC regular season and tournament championship. A four-time ASC Most Valuable Player, Mosley became the first volleyball student-athlete in conference history to earn the award four times. She also earned AVCA First Team All-America honors in 2025 after receiving Second Team honors in 2024 and Honorable Mention recognition in 2022 and 2023. In addition to volleyball, Mosley competed in track & field, winning the 2023 ASC discus championship and earning ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete honors.

Away from competition, Mosley was active in community service throughout her collegiate career, participating in local and international service projects, including ETBU's Chile Mission Trip, Mission Marshall, Boys & Girls Club, Operation Christmas Child, and Marshall ISD volunteer initiatives. She also served as a volleyball team captain, SAAC representative, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes leader.
