TAME | HKY | Sweden - Recap #1

For the first day of our mission trip to Sweden, it was pretty much all travel. We flew from Dallas to Paris, France, then to Copenhagen, Denmark, then finally a three hour drive from Copenhagen to Varnamo, Sweden. Most people would think all that travel would not be enjoyable, but it was great to spend the day with my teammates and to be able to learn a few things about some of them.

Once we arrived in Varnamo, we ate a delicious dinner at Arken, a local church meaning ‘the Ark,’ which was prepared by their phenomenal staff that we'll be working with throughout the week. We had a brief summary of what tomorrow will look like for our group, which will include training in the culture of Sweden and the true mission of us being here, which is to spread the Word of Jesus Christ. Over the next week I'm looking forward to diving in with the community and having the Light and Love of Jesus shine through us in all we do here.
