Darby Graff

Graff enters her third season as head coach after being promoted from the assistant coach in in 2018. The Hallsville, Texas, native played collegiately at Texas A&M and Arkansas State University graduating from Texas A&M in 2015. 

In Graff’s first season, she guided ETBU to a 14-14 record finishing third in the ASC East. She posted the best start in program history at 6-0 and produced four players who earned All-ASC East awards with two first team selections. Allie Fennell was also voted the ASC East Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year. In spring 2021 COVID-19 season, ETBU started off 5-0 and were ranked as high as 12th in the nation. Lillie Hill was named the ASC East Freshman and Libero of the Year and Fennell gained All-ASC East first-team status.

About Coach Graff

  • She played three seasons at Texas A&M where she was a member of the All-SEC Honor Roll in 2013 and 2014 and graduated early with a degree in University Studies - Sports Leadership Concentration.
  • She hit .339 in 2014 and helped the Aggies to two NCAA Tournament appearances
  • Graff transferred to Arkansas State University where she played in 2015
  • She led the Wolves to a 28-2 record going 16-0 in the Sun Belt Conference to win the conference championship and a spot in the NCAA Tournament
  • She averaged 3.03 kills per set and had 309 kills hitting .355 overall
  • Collected 71 blocks in the 2015 season and had a career-high 19 kills vs. Florida Gulf Coast and 10 blocks vs. Appalachian State
  • She also led them to a 24-match winning streak and a national ranking
  • At Hallsville High School, she was a two-time Texas Sports Writers Association All-State leading them to a 93-24 record in three years and earning the District 14-4A MVP was unanimously given the award
