MARSHALL, Texas – The East Texas Baptist University women's soccer team exploded for seven goals against Sul Ross State University in en route to a 7-1 victory at Cornish Field on Friday afternoon. ETBU moves to 1-5 and 1-0 in American Southwest Conference competition, while Sul Ross State drops to 0-2 and 0-1 in ASC matches.

ETBU held edges in a variety of categories, including shots (47-to-5), shots on-goal (24-to-2). Erin Miller led ETBU with 15 shots, including two goals. Stephanie Castillo, Chase Swann, Heather Brady, Amber Campbell, and Alexis Smith each also tallied goals for ETBU. Brady also contributed three assists.

ETBU will next play when LeTourneau University comes to Marshall on Sept. 25 for a 5 p.m. match.
