PINEVILLE, Louisiana – Starting off the Fall Break on a positive note, the East Texas Baptist men's soccer team collected a 4-0 win against Louisiana College. The win moves their record to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

During the game, ETBU outshot LC 31-2, with 19 of them going to the net. Dominic Wood led the team with nine shots, including six on net while one of Jordan Burke's five total shots found the net. David Jackson (goal) and Antoine Bravo (assist) fired three shots while Thomas Sanford (goal, assist), Matthew Argenbright, and Aaron Lopez had two shots. Five other players for ETBU, including Kilby Pope, who also scored, would have one shot in the game.

Ten minutes into the game, Jackson found the net off the rebound putting ETBU on top. Eight minutes later, it was Burke who scored off the header on a corner kick by Max Ponticorvo. ETBU would then go 58 minutes of not scoring before Sanford scored the third goal courtesy of an assist by Bravo. The fourth and final goal came from Pope, who received it from Sanford.

ETBU continues eastward as they travel to Jackson, Mississippi for a showdown with Belhaven. Kickoff starts at 3:30 pm.
