“Obviously it is disappointing to lose our first match of the season but give full credit to Hendrix. They imposed their will on us physically, especially in the first half. They made the most of their chances while we failed to capitalize on our opportunities even though we had the same amount of shots as they did. There is a lot to learn, and we look forward to the opportunity to face LeTourneau on Saturday. We are proud of our non-conference record of 2-1-2 which is an improvement from last year,” said head coach Erik Solberg after the match.
ETBU will once again be on the road this Saturday with an American Southwest Conference match in Longview against LeTourneau University. The match will be a double-header with the men's soccer team as the women's game begins at 5:00 p.m.
