MARSHALL, Texas- After taking care of two American Southwest Conference West Division teams moving to 5-0, the East Texas Baptist University women's basketball team is off to their best start since 1999-2000. With the recent success the team has had in the early part of the season, Head Coach Rusty Rainbolt talked about the importance of staying the course and making the most of every opportunity.

"We're definitely going to have to lock in as a team. We want to continue to prepare and play in a way that honors the Lord. We want to continue to represent our school in the best way possible. We're thankful no matter the outcome," Rainbolt said.

The Tigers will take on Sul Ross State on Monday, Dec. 11 from the Gallego Center in Alpine, Texas. Tip-off is set to take place at 5:30 p.m.
