CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas – In their last regular season match of the season, the East Texas Baptist University men's tennis team grinded out a 5-4 win over Ozarks. ETBU finishes the conference season with a 3-1 record, which is good for second place. Overall, they finish with a 7-10-1 record.

ETBU started off losing two of three doubles matches with the pair of Cody Highsmith and John Herr winning the no. 2 doubles match 9-8 (7-5). ETBU would rally to take four of six singles matches as they won the no. 1, no. 3, no. 4, and no. 5 matches to win. Highsmith won no. 1 singles 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 while Herr won no. 3 singles 6-1, 6-2.  Joseph Salinas had a 6-3, 6-0 victory at no. 4 singles while Ty Tarver picked up and victory of 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) at no. 5 singles.

ETBU will be competing in the ASC Tournament at UT-Tyler in two weeks.
