Coming into their first home match of the year, the East Texas Baptist University men's soccer team is looking to get into the win column here in the early season.
In the Tigers' Sunday matchup against Texas Lutheran University, the men's squad hoped to avenge a Friday night loss to Schreiner University in the season opener. Both teams needed double overtime to score a field goal. The game ended in a tie at 1-1, bringing the road team to a 0-1-1 record on the season. Senior

ETBU will host Hendrix College at 7 p.m. on Cornish Field. The team has had significant success over the Warriors over the last two matchups, boasting a 2-0 record in the last three seasons.
Hendrix comes into Tuesday's road matchup with a 0-2 record after dropping its first two matches against McMurry and Southwestern University.
