MARSHALL, Texas- Heading into the home stretch of the season, the East Texas Baptist University men's tennis team will host American Southwest Conference opponent Belhaven University on Friday, March 30. Entering the matchup, ETBU is 2-8 overall and 1-0 in ASC play this season.

ETBU held their own in last week's matches against St. Edward's and Trinity University. Andrew Deutsch recorded the only win for the Tigers when he took on the #3 match, winning 7-6 and 7-5. Joseph Salinas and Ty Tarver played the closest doubles match, falling 8-5 against SEU.

BU comes into Friday's contest with an overall record of 6-6 and a 0-1 record in ASC play. The Blazers have dropped their last two matches, falling 8-1 and 9-0 to Birmingham-Southern College and the University of Texas-Tyler.

Friday's match is set to kick-off at 9:00 a.m. from Veterans' Memorial Tennis Complex.
