After a scoreless second inning, the Tigers would then bring two runs in the top of the third inning when Salts reached on an error that scored both Lewis and Arst for a 3-0 lead. The Tornados would have their first threat in the bottom of third as they loaded the bases with one out. Anderson was able to get out of the jam with a pop out and a strikeout swinging.
