MARSHALL, Texas – Coming back from their first games of the season in Colorado, the East Texas Baptist University volleyball returns home to compete in their first home games of the year at Ornelas Gymnasium. ETBU will take on both Wiley College and Centenary College today.

In their first four games of the season at the Colorado College tournament, ETBU went 1-3 with a 3-1 win over North Central College. In that game, Sydney Lopez led the way with 16 kills and nine digs while Bailey Byas collected 11 kills. Elyse Shaw had a team-high 18 assists while Cassidy Zellmer dished out 12. Julia De Los Santos was the top digger with 15 for ETBU while both Annie Harris and Carley Boswell added six blocks apiece.

ETBU opens their home match against WC and CC. Last season, ETBU defeated CC in five sets at Ornelas Gymnasium. All-time in nine meetings, ETBU is 9-0 on the season against the Ladies. This will also be ETBU's second meeting against WC in the NCAA Division III era. In their previous meeting in 2016, ETBU swept WC in three straight sets.

ETBU will take on Wiley College at 4:30 PM and then host Centenary at 7:00 PM.
