MARSHALL, Texas – The road trip will continue for the East Texas Baptist University men's tennis team as they travel to Sherman, Texas, this weekend for two matches. On Friday they will take on Hardin-Simmons University and Saturday face host Austin College. ETBU is 3-2 overall on the year. 

John Herr leads the team in singles wins with a 4-1 record. He is 2-0 at number two singles and 2-1 at number three singles. He has been the ASC East Player of the Week, twice. Adam Morris has three singles win on the year with one each at number two, five, and six singles. In doubles play, Andrew Deutsch and Tyler Howard are 3-0 at number three while Herr/Morris are 3-2 at number one.

ETBU last played Hardin-Simmons in 2017 in Abilene to start the season and fell, 6-3. ETBU had wins in number four, five, and six singles.

Friday's match vs. HSU is set to begin at 4:00 p.m., while Saturday's match vs. Austin College is set for 9:00 a.m.
