The East Texas Baptist University Cheer, Pom, and Acrobatics and Tumbling teams arrived in Tokyo, Japan, on Thursday evening for ETBU's 11th Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME) trip in partnership with International Sports Federation (ISF).

The group of 23 arrived in Japan after a 13 hour flight from Texas and headed to Hongodai Christ Church, which will serve as home base for the first half of the trip.  The train ride was scheduled to be two hours, but after a couple of delays the teams arrived to the church about seven hours after landing at the airport.

After getting settled into their rooms at the church, the group enjoyed a much appreciated dinner, met the church staff and other volunteers that they will be serving alongside while in Japan, and had a quick orientation before calling it a day.

Thank you for your support of these young ladies, both prayerfully and financially, and we ask for continued prayers for the group, as they use their God-given talents and abilities to share their faith with the Japanese people.
