PREVIEW | @ETBU_Soccer Headed to Abilene for ASC Tournament First Round Match

MARSHALL, Texas - Qualifying for their third straight American Southwest Conference Tournament, the East Texas Baptist University men's soccer team will hit the road to Abilene, Texas, for their first round match. They will be facing #1 West Division champion Hardin-Simmons University.
 
This is the fifth tournament in program history that ETBU has made. They qualified in 2019, 2018, 2013, and 1999. In 2018, they advanced to the semi-finals falling to Texas Dallas, 1-0, in double overtime. To start off the 2018 tournament, they hosted Ozarks and won, 1-0, which was the first post-season victory on Cornish Field in the NCAA Division III era. ETBU is 1-4 overall in the ASC Tournament.
