MARSHALL, Texas - With the deciding match in a tiebreaker, the East Texas Baptist University men's tennis team fell, 5-4, to LeTourneau University in the final home match of the year. ETBU is now 5-6 overall and 2-2 in the American Southwest Conference East Division.

ETBU opened their day with two doubles wins from the No. 1 tandem of John Herr/Joseph Salinas (8-4) and No. 2 tandem of Dalton Barron/Noah Smistad (8-3). Herr would then win his singles match at No. 2 in a tiebreaker 6-3, 2-6, 7-5. Adam Morris collected ETBU's fourth point with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles. LETU would overcome the early deficit to force a 4-4 tie. The No. 6 singles match would go three sets with LETU taking it 7-5, 4-6, 7-5.

ETBU will travel to Pineville, La., to face Louisiana College this Saturday at 12:00 PM.
