LAKE DARDANELLE, Ark. – Sending the entire East Texas Baptist University Tiger Bass fishing team to the AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open, the Tigers had two boats in the top 50 over 200 boats. Seven teams in all were competing at the event.
 
New teams were paired for this tournament by ETBU to help the newer anglers learn at tournaments. Brett Jolley and Cade Nettles had the top boat coming in 41^st place with a weight of 11.18 pounds. Cason Ragsdale and Hudson Gentry were then in 46^th place at 10.34 pounds.
 
Corey Morris and Austin Rose finished in 64^th place at 8.53 pounds while Ethan Thurston and Dylan Benson were 75^th at 7.44 pounds. The other three boats did not weigh-in.
 
ETBU will next be at the Collegiate Bass Trail of Texas Tournament on Possum King Lake on October 22.
