MANSFIELD, Texas - Playing a single game making up for the last game of the series from September due to a postponement, East Texas Baptist University finished off game two against Texas Christian with a big 9-1 win. In Wednesday's contest, almost every Tiger earned a point or two.
Matt Duncan and Spencer Mills both tallied two goals each. The remaining five goals were scored by
Carson Loos, Trevor Begley, Ronnie Bregante,
Caleb Goudreau, and AJ King scored his first ever collegiate goal.
Tyler Fitzgerald was in between the pipes stopping 12 out of the 13 shots he faced.

The Tigers only allowed 0:26 to go by before Mills lit the lamp—putting ETBU on the board. Barely an entire minute went by before Loos snagged his own goal off the stick of
Timothy Zittel to force a 2-0 lead just 1:10 into the game. It would be roughly 9:00 minutes before the game saw another goal. The Horned Frogs received an elbowing penalty at 8:56 giving ETBU the one-man-advantage. Begley capitalized on this with help from Jason Guntow to give the Tigers a 3-0 lead just 10:32 into the game. Almost 5:00 minutes went by when the Frogs received another penalty for hooking, resulting in another Tiger powerplay goal from Bregante—assisted by Goudreau and Begley. Bregante's goal would put the Tigers up 4-0 as they headed into the second period.

Trying to stay alive, the Horned frogs managed to score on Fitzgerald 1:02 into the second. The game wouldn't see another goal until 12:45 when Duncan claimed his first goal of the night—assisted by Bregante and Zittel. Just 1:15 later, King scored for his first ever career goal at ETBU with help from Begley and Mills. Goudreau scored the period's final goal off of a pass from Loos bringing score to 7-1.

The Tigers were able to draw a penalty early in the final regulation period, allowing Duncan to score his second goal of the night just 1:58 back into action. Almost 5:00 minutes later, Duncan set Mills up to score the game's final goal. Mills' goal sealed the deal resulting in a 9-1 win for the Tigers.
