RICHARDSON, Texas – In their first of four straight matches on the road over the next week, East Texas Baptist University fell to the University of Texas Dallas, 3-1, 28-26, 12-25, 16-25, 18-25. ETBU is now 13-4 and 5-4 in the ASC.
 
Avery Reid led the team with 14 kill while Graycee Mosely added a double-double with 12 kills and 15 digs. Lexi Moody added 32 assists while Lillie Hill posted 18 digs. Alexis Mack collected three blocks.
 
ETBU took a 1-0 lead in the match winning set one, 28-26. ETBU had 18 kills in the set for the win. UTD came back quickly winning set two, 25-12 as ETBU only had seven kills. It was the same in set three as UTD took a 25-16 win as ETBU posted eight kills. ETBU pushed UTD in set four but came up short, 25-18, adding 11 kills.
 
ETBU will be back in action on Tuesday in Longview, Texas, against LeTourneau University at 6:00 p.m.
