MARSHALL, Texas – Becoming the third East Texas Baptist University football player to be an American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) two-time All-American is
Jordan Estes. He was named to the AFCA All-American second team as a long snapper.
Estes (Rowlett, Texas) earns his third career award as a long snapper also being named AFCA All-Region First Team last week and to the All-American First Team in 2021. He produced 88 perfect snaps this season on 50 punts, 10 field goal attempts, and 28 extra point attempts. None of the attempts were blocked.
He joins Richard (RJ) Johnson (2017, 2018) and Scott Verhalen (2001, 2002) on the list of being selected twice as an AFCA All-American. Chad Glover was an All-American in 2005.
