POST GAME INTERVIEW

GAME 1
ETBU 1, BU 0

Collins pitched a beautiful seven-inning game recording a career-high 13 strikeouts. He gave up just one hit in the shutout win with only two walks. He retired the final 12 batters he faced and in five of the seven innings retired the side. Wagner had one of the two hits for ETBU on a solo home run in the second inning.

GAME 2
ETBU 9, BU 3

Sherman went 4.1 innings with four strikeouts for his second win of the year. Peyton Miller pitched the final four innings for the save with seven strikeouts, no runs, and no hits. Tyler Schwenn also worked 0.2 innings with one strikeout. McAdams had two home runs for three RBI to lead the team. Wagner posted two doubles for four RBI while Will Kelley and Jase Jones each had a RBI.

ETBU took a 1-0 lead in the first when Wagner doubled down the left field line as Kelley came in. Jones then flew out in the second inning on a sac fly making it 2-0. Kelley was then hit by the pitch with the bases loaded for a three-run lead which lead to another Wagner double clearing the bases making it 6-0. BU scored one in the fourth but ETBU answered on a McAdams two-run home run pushing it to 8-1. Two runs in the fifth from BU put them within five, 8-3, but McAdams solo home run in the eighth finished out the scoring, 9-3.

ETBU travels to Clarksville, Ark., next weekend for a three-game series against the University of the Ozarks.
