GEORGETOWN, Texas – Taking on Southwestern University on Saturday morning, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Southwestern University. ETBU is now 1-4 on the year.
 
SU started off the match with a 3-0 lead taking all three matches. Gabbi Hammerbach and Jayde Childress had the closest match in #1 falling, 8-4. Kylee Mixon and Isabelle Duarte lost, 8-3, in the #3 match.
 
In singles, Childress posted the closest match at #2 in a 6-3, 6-1 loss. Mixon fell at #6, 6-2, 6-0.
 
ETBU will be back at home on Friday, February 25, hosting Meridian CC and Dallas Baptist University.
