DALLAS, Texas – Playing indoors in Dallas, the East Texas Baptist University men's tennis team faced regional opponent Covenant College falling, 7-2. ETBU is now 1-7 on the year.
 
CC took the doubles matches, 2-1, as ETBU won the #3 match. Tim Cooley and Brycen Fears won in a tiebreaker, 8-7, for ETBU's first point.
 
In singles play, ETBU came away with another point as Austin won the #2 match. He came back to win 2-6, 7-6, 9-8, in a tie breaker. Spencer Carey had the next closest match at #5 losing, 6-3, 6-2.
 
ETBU will face Schreiner University on Friday, March 4, in Kerrville.
