MARSHALL, Texas – Playing two matches on Saturday, the East Texas Baptist University men's lacrosse team earned a win over Louisiana Tech, 12-6, moving to 2-2 on the year. In the first match of the day, ETBU fell to Tulane University, 22-11.

Caleb Goudreau scored the first two goals of the match followed by a Verlinden goal for a 3-0 lead. Duncan then scored the next goal followed by three straight goals from
Avery Cook who had four in the match.
Izac Olguin then had the eighth goal of the match as Cook recorded his fourth goal for the nineht point. Matthew Duncan then posted a goal for the 10
th goal as
Liam Warsaw had the 11
th goal and
Dominic Desjardins finished off the scoring with the 12
th goal.

Tulane took the first match of the day, 22-11, but Verlinden led the team with five goals scoring the fourth, sixth, ninth, tenth, and 11
th goals. Goudreau added the first goal of the match and then the seventh and eighth goals. Cook recorded the second and third goals of the game.
