MARSHALL, Texas – In their first American Southwest Conference East Division match, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team fell, 9-0, to the University of Texas Dallas. ETBU is now 3-8 and 0-1 in the ASC East.
 
Jayde Childress and Gabbi Hammerbach had the closest match in doubles at #1 as they lost, 8-2. Isabelle Duarte posted the closet match in singles at #5. She fell, 6-3, 6-2, to Rebecca Jackson.
 
ETBU will play two community colleges in Texarkana, Texas, on Saturday at Texas A&M-Tekarkana.
