DAY 5 BLOG
Hannah Blaha (Caldwell, Texas)
Tuesday's recap of the ETBU Golf TAME Trip to Scotland is provided by
Hannah Blaha, a sophomore nursing major from Caldwell, Texas.
"We woke up bright and early this morning and traveled back to Edinburgh to serve alongside Bethany Christian Mission. Our service activities included painting a house, serving at a women's shelter, and weed, moss and foliage cleanup. This meant so much to me because my love language is acts of service and this allowed me to express my gratitude toward the country and people of Scotland.
I now have a deeper passion for serving on mission trips because of this trip and to help others in need. I have also seen God's presence within the people that we are serving. We then headed back to St. Andrews and had a very eye opening devotional by fellow golfer
Kip Childress. We finished the night off by taking a scenic walk into town to eat dinner that was a great evening with the team and staff. I am looking forward to how the Lord will work during our last few days in Scotland.
