MARSHALL, Texas – The East Texas Baptist University Athletics Department has hired Kylie Cobb to the volleyball staff as a graduate assistant under head coach Mallory Matthews. Cobb is a recent graduate from LeTourneau University, where she received her bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

"We are so excited to add Kylie Cobb to our staff. She is going to bring a lot of energy and life to our team. Playing for us previously is going to be helpful because she knows our systems and how we run our program. I am looking forward to working alongside her," Matthews said. Cobb played for Matthews when she was the head coach at LeTourneau before becoming ETBU's head coach in December 2021.

Cobb comes to ETBU from the White Oak Juniors Volleyball Club in White Oak, Texas, where she was head coach after finishing her collegiate volleyball career. She also coached for TAV Houston while earning her undergraduate degree.

She will be working towards her master's degree with plans to graduate by December 2023.
