WS | Tigers Collect Sixth Tie of the Year

ALPINE, Texas -  Not scoring in their final time meeting Sul Ross State University, East Texas Baptist University tied the Lobos, 0-0. The Tigers are now 5-3-6 overall and have one more regular season match.
 
Cheyenne Vick led the team with two shots. Mallory Duncan, Olivia Gallegos, Liliana Garcia, and Lily Comstive all had a shot on goal. Cadence Tischler led the team in saves with five.
 
In the first half, the first offensive action for the Tigers was taken by Gallegos with a shot on goal at 6:09. Not long after Elizabeth Wynne attempted a shot at 13:04. The back and forth continued until 23:23 when Sarah Ramos attempted a shot but unfortunately it went over the goal. ETBU's first save of game came from Addison Funk at 34:31 and not even two minutes later she recorded another save at 36:01. The Tigers next shot on goal came from Garcia 36:27 as it was saved by the Lobos goalkeeper ending the half at 0-0.
 
Mi'a Lila started off the second half with a save at 45:13. The next offensive action for the Tigers was a shot from Vick at 50:14 but went left. Rose Comstive attempted a shot on goal at 51:34 as it was saved. Not long after Lila made another save at 51:51. After more back and forth the Tigers next offensive action came at 59:25 from Vick with a shot that went left. The next save for the Tiger came from goalkeeper Tischler at 60:20. Not five minutes later Tischler made another save at 65:39 and around four minutes later collected her third save at 69:20. Duncan had a shot on goal at 77:36 it was saved by the Lobos goalkeeper. Tischler added a save at 87:25 and not even a minute later she did again at 88:13. The last offensive action for the Tigers came from Aylisse Warren at 89:35 as the game ended at 0-0.

The Tigers will travel to Brownwood, Texas to face Howard Payne at 5:00 PM on Oct. in the final regular season game.
