MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Traveling to Georgia for a weekend of play at the Berry College Beach Volleyball Classic, East Texas Baptist University dropped their first match, 5-0, to Huntingdon College. ETBU is now 5-13 on the year and will have two more dual matches on Saturday.
 
Nadia Brockway and Libby Gear started off in 21-9 loss in set one of match five and battled in set two but fell, 21-16. Antonia Redfern and Maggie Smitherman then lost at the number four match, 21-8, 21-12 rounding out the first three matches. Hope Shipp and Mollee McCurley had a strong first match bet lost, 21-16, 21-11. Riley Reneau and Annika Demuth posted the closets scores of the dual at number two in a 21-15, 22-20 loss. At number one, Ashley Salas and Madison McDonald battled to a 21-12, 22-20 loss.
 
ETBU will take on Stevenson and Lynchburg on Saturday morning at 8:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
