KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Three East Texas Baptist University Tiger Bass boats competed for an Abu Garcia Major League Fishing presented by Yeti National Championship in Florida as one came in the top 30. Facing off against the top collegiate anglers in the United States, Brayden Mercer and Corey Morris came in 26^th place as the top boat for ETBU.
 
In the two-day tournament, Mercer and Morris finished with 10 fish for 26 pounds and nine ounces. They caught 14 pounds and four ounces on day one and 12 pounds and five ounces on day two.
 
Brett Jolley and Cade Nettles then came in 102^nd place with a total of 13 pounds and three ounces with eight fish. On day one, they finished with five fish for eight pounds and five ounces and then had three fish on day two for four pounds and 14 ounces.
 
Dylan Armstong and Cross Campbell followed in 126^th place at three pounds and six ounces. They caught that with two fish on day one and didn't weigh-in on day two.
 
ETBU will next compete on February 1 in Georgia on the Bassmaster College Series.
