DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Florida brought the East Texas Baptist University cheer and pom teams another second-place finish at the National Cheer Association National Championships. ETBU placed second in the "Game Day" open event for the second year in a row.
ETBU scored 75.8708 points edging out Our Lady of the Lakes by three points (73.8667). North Carolina Wesleyan came in fourth with 70.3667 points. Navarro College won the Game Day Open Division with 93.07 points.
The Tigers will bring home another trophy for the ETBU Spirit program led by pom coach Ellen LeClair and cheer coach
Hannah Hicks.
