MT. BERRY, Ga. – In their final regular season tournament, the East Texas Baptist University beach volleyball team went 2-2 at the Berry College Vikings Classic. After going 0-2 on day one, ETBU bounced back with two wins on day two.
ETBU fell to Berry College (5-0) and Huntingdon (3-2) on day one but then defeated Reinhardt University, 5-0, and Emmanuel University, 3-2. The win over Emmanuel is ETBU's first victory over a NCAA Division II program.
ETBU is now 11-12 on the year and will play next in the AVCA Small College National Championships in Florida next weekend.
