BROOKELAND, Texas – Earning two qualifications for the Major League Fishing College National Championships, the East Texas Baptist University Tiger Bass Fishing program participated in the Sam Rayborn Reservoir one-day tournament.
Brayden Mercer and
Corey Morris and
Carson Stevens and
Presley Warden both qualified for the national tournament.
Mercer and Morris came in 19
th place with five fish weighing 15 pounds and 11 ounces. Stevens and Warden followed in 25
th place with five fish at 14 pounds and 15 ounces.
Brett Jolley and
Cooper Kennell just missed the top 25 qualification, coming in 28th place with 14 pounds and 10 ounces.
Braydon Kelley and
Noah Parrish were 8th with 10 pounds and 8 ounces.
Dylan Armstrong and Parker Emory came in 119th place (eight pounds, 12 ounces), and
Dylan Benson and
Zane Stroman came in 120th place (eight pounds, eight ounces).
Logan Clark and
Hunter Stuckey finished at 168
th. There were 186 boats in the tournament.
