CLINTON, Miss. – In the final regular season meet of the year, East Texas Baptist University ran against NCAA Division I,II,III, and NAIA programs at the Watson Collegiate XC Classic hosted by Mississippi College. They finished with 514 points for 21^st place out of 24 programs.
 
"Five out of the six runners for us had a personal record for the 8K today," said head coach Natalie Bach-Prather. "Noah's time was the ninth best in program history for an 8K, too."
 
Noah Zarate had the top time at 26:49.50 in the 8K race coming in 58^th place out of almost 200 runners. He was less than 10 seconds off the top 50 runners. Jagger Stutchman ran a 28:48.80 for 119^th place and Tyler Jordan rounded out the top 150 at 147^th with a time of 29:40.00.
 
ETBU will run next at the American Southwest Conference Championships in Abilene, Texas, on November 1.
