FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Competing in the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in the Fire Pepper 8K race, East Texas Baptist University came in 21
st of 25 programs against NCAA Division II, III, and NAIA programs.
Noah Zarate was the top runner coming in 67
th place.
Zarate ran a 28:01.7 to finish in the top fourth of the runners for the meet.
Jagger Stutchman was then in the top half of the competitors with a time of 29:36.9.
Tyler Jordan finished out the top 150 in 147
th place at 29:53.2.
The team competed strong with all the teams and produced one personal best in the heat.
ETBU will compete in their final regular season meet on October 17 at Mississippi College before the ASC Championship on November 1.
