Woodard had 170 yards on 22 carries with two touchdowns in a 24-21 win against Texas Lutheran. He produced two long runs in the game with one on a fourth-and-1 breaking free for a 48-yard run to make it 21-14 just before the half. He had back-to-back touchdown runs with his first at 6:28 in the second quarter to tie the game at 14. On that drive, he had five rushes for 17 yards ending with the five-yard touchdown run. On the next possession, ETBU started at its own 43 and four straight rushes from Woodard led to the go-ahead touchdown, ending on the aforementioned 48-yard run.
