SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Playing the best in the Fall ITA NCAA Division III Regional Tournament, East Texas Baptist University was very successful in the four-day men's tennis tournament. ETBU advanced in the A Singles and Doubles matches and won a consolation championship.
Sam Black and
Max Karseno went three rounds deep to the quarter finals, losing in a tie-breaker to Trinity University, who won the Single A doubles championship. Jaco Synman won his first-round match over Texas Lutheran in the Singles A.
Mark Armburster fell in the first round of Singles A but bounced back to win the Consolation Championship, winning five matches in a row.
