MARSHALL, Texas — Six East Texas Baptist University women's soccer players earned American Southwest Conference honors for the 2025 season, highlighted by two first-team selections and four second-team honorees. Senior forward
Mallory Duncan (Round Rock, Texas) and freshman defender
Audrey Hall (Troup, Texas) was both named to the All-ASC First Team.
Duncan capped her Tiger career with her fourth consecutive ASC honor, improving each season. She was an honorable mention in 2022, a third-team selection in 2023, and a second-team pick in 2024 before earning first-team honors this year. Duncan led ETBU in goals (4), points (9), and shots on goal (15) while recording a .625 shots-on-goal percentage. She finished her collegiate career with seven goals.
Hall made an immediate impact in her freshman campaign, playing in 15 matches and logging 1,288 minutes. Anchoring the back line, she helped the Tigers post seven shutouts while holding opponents to an average of 1.73 goals per game.
Earning All-ASC Second Team honors were defender
Keira Coughlin (So., Fort Worth, Texas), goalkeeper
Cadence Tischler (Sr., The Colony, Texas), and midfielders
Grace Shurley (So., Shreveport, La.) and
Giselle Laredo (Sr., Garland, Texas). Tischler, Laredo, and Shurley each earned their second consecutive second-team selection. Tischler recorded seven shutouts, made 71 saves, and was named ASC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 16. Shurley contributed three goals, including a two-goal performance against Centenary on Sept. 23, with seven of her eight total shots landing on target. Coughlin, the 2024 ASC Defensive Freshman of the Year, played 1,228 minutes across 15 matches, helping the Tigers' defense post seven clean sheets. Laredo added one goal this season, finishing her ETBU career with four.
