MARSHALL, Texas – Historic seasons bring historic awards as East Texas Baptist University has earned four American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American awards.
Graycee Mosley (Sr., Troy, Texas),
Lexi Moody (Sr, Crawford, Texas),
Anita Hancock (Jr., Independence, Texas), and
Lara Hornsby (Fr., Decatur, Texas) were named All-Americans. Mosley earns her fourth straight All-American award and is named to the First Team, while Moody, Hancock, and Hornsby are first-time award winners, earning Honorable Mention.
Four All-Americans in one season is the most in the ASC and at ETBU as the program has now earned 11 AVCA All-American awards.
Mosley earns her fourth AVCA All-American award, becoming the first ETBU player to be named to the First Team, and is the second player in ASC volleyball history to be on the team. She is the only four-time All-American for ETBU and the ASC and holds the overall ASC record for weekly awards with 20. She has been an AVCA All-American, earning Honorable Mention in 2022 and 2023, Second Team in 2024, and now a First Team member in 2025. The four-time ASC MVP and All-Region First Team selection holds the ETBU and ASC record for all-time kills, breaking the record at the NCAA Medford Regional Tournament. She leads the ASC in kills with 520, ranking third in NCAA Division III, and has recorded 85 double-doubles in her career, including the most kills in ETBU history with 2,020.
Earning their first All-American awards are Moody, Hancock, and Hornsby as Honorable Mention selections.
Moody is a four-time All-ASC selection and, along with making the AVCA All-Region First Team in 2025. The 2024 ASC Setter of the Year has recorded 2,391 career assists and has 582 assists this season, averaging 5.24 per set. She was an All-ASC First Team selection in 2024 and 2025, a Second Team selection in 2022, and an Honorable Mention in 2023.
Hancock has earned three All-ASC awards, including two First Team selections in 2024 and 2025, and an Honorable Mention in 2023. The AVCA All-Region First Team member earned her 300th career block last week in the NCAA Regional Tournament and is fourth on the ETBU all-time blocks list with 303. This season, she has recorded 125 blocks, the most in ASC, and has accrued 300.5 points with 222 kills.
Hornsby, the 2025 AVCA Region Freshman of the Year, was also the co-ASC Freshman of the Year, All-ASC First Team, and on the AVCA All-Region First Team. She is the second freshman in ETBU history to be named All-American and has recorded 331 kills with 117 digs with 26 blocks.
No. 1 ETBU will travel to Bloomington, Ill., for the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament, December 3-6, held in the Shrink Center Arena, and will face No. 8 Berry College at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
