MARSHALL, Texas – Winning her fourth American Southwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week award, East Texas Baptist University's
Callie Humphrey helped the Tigers to their third straight undefeated season in Ornelas Gym. ETBU went 2-0 on the weekend with wins over Austin College and UC Santa Cruz finishing 13-0 at home in the regular season. She has now won the award on Nov. 3, Oct. 20, Oct. 6, and Sept. 15.
The Senior from Haslet, Texas, recorded 39 digs and served seven aces on 41 attempts, scoring eight points for ETBU this weekend. Her defensive efforts helped the Tigers sweep both Austin College and UC Santa Cruz. In her two years at ETBU, Humphrey has recorded 921 digs.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Callie Humphrey, DS, Sr., East Texas Baptist
Humphrey anchored the Tiger defense with a dominant weekend performance, averaging 6.5 digs per set while maintaining a .976 reception rate on 41 total attempts. She also contributed seven service aces, helping ETBU control momentum from the back row. Her leadership and poise kept the Tigers organized defensively and played a crucial role in ETBU's 2–0 weekend sweep at home.
