"We started off our first full day in Roatan with a traditional Honduran breakfast, and it was so good! We packed our lunches and headed to the beach courts where we did a volleyball camp for some of the local kids. In the morning, we had roughly 50 kids ranging from ages 6-17. We had the opportunity to play games and teach them a little volleyball. There were so many amazing children there who were so eager to learn and spend time with us. We also had some devotional time to tell them about ourselves and learn more about them and discussed trusting in Jesus. We then headed back to our apartments for lunch and some downtime before our afternoon volleyball camp session," Ellenburg said.Â

"For our afternoon volleyball camp session, we the had older kids join us. It was enlightening to talk with them and bond over volleyball together. Despite the language barrier, it was evident that God's love knows no barrier. For our group devotional we discussed the story of Jesus calming the storm. After sharing trials where we felt God in our own lives, the kids opened up and shared. It was amazing to hear how God has worked in their lives and how important it is to have trust and faith in God's plan," Matz added.Â
