MARSHALL, Texas – Two student-athletes from the East Texas Baptist University Men's Soccer program have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.
Luke Hunsinger and
Jacob Wenzel earned the award for their play on the field and in the classroom.
Hunsinger is a graduate student from Flint, Texas. He played in 651 minutes this season, scoring four points and two goals. In his time with the Tigers, he has recorded eight points on four goals in 35 games. He is working on his Masters of Business Administration and has a 4.0 GPA
Wenzel is a junior from Frisco, Texas. He played in 1464 minutes this season with one goal and two points. In his career, he has three goals and seven points. He is majoring in business administration and has a 3.81 GPA
To be honored by the CSC, a student athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.5 grade point average or higher and played in 75% or more of the matches.
