Nacogdoches, TX – Competing against programs 30 NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA programs at the Carl Knight Invitational hosted by Steven F. Austin, East Texas Baptist University came away with seven Top Ten finishes in both the track and fielding events.
Andrae Gibson posted two top 10 finishes in track for ETBU. He placed seventh in the 400-meter dash at 48.60 and 10th in the 200-meter dash at 21.98.
In the fielding events,
Cooper Mosier was sixth in the javelin with a distance of 48.32 meters and placed seventh in the shot put with a distance 13.90 meters.
Paul Woodard came in ninth in the long jump with a distance of 6.60 meters.
Michael Collier was then 10
th in the triple jump with a distance of 12.47 meters.
Carlos Garibay finished 10
th in javelin with a distance of 45.59 meters.
