SEARCY, Ark. – With the conclusion of the Bryan Philips Invitational hosted by Harding University, East Texas Baptist had 11 student-athletes place in the Top Ten.
Phoebe Dunham had the best finish for the Tigers, finishing second in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
In track events, Dunham finished the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:39.28.
Brittney Snow finished fourth in the 400-meter dash with 1:00.29 for time. She also placed fifth in the 200-meter dash with 26.53 for time.
Danna Requena had the last Top Five finish for ETBU coming in fourth in the 5000-meter run at 19:29.28.
Emily Sitton placed sixth in 100-meter dash at 13.42.
Lindsey Gooch finished the 800-meter run in 2:24.02 to come in seventh place. The final Top Ten track finishes came in the 5000-meter run with Mary Kate Mark placing eighth with a final time of 21:14.74 and
Megan Smith coming in 10
th with a time of 22:40.40.
In field events, the Tigers had three Top Ten finishes in high jump and discus. Sitton led the way for the Tigers with a sixth place finish in high jump with a height of 1.48 meters. In discus,
Shakayla Browder finished seventh with distance of 33.35 meters and
Alexsis Luby placed ninth with a distance of 31.17 meters.
