MARSHALL, Texas—It was a banner year for the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis program, which earned several American Southwest Conference awards and was the 2025 Tournament Champions. Five student-athletes earned awards for the 2025 season.

Bailey Smith, Jayde Childress, Monique Ybarra, Kristyn Dunn, and Fernanda Ruiz Burkart all earned awards. Smith, Childress, Ybarra, and Ruiz Burkart were all named to the ASC All-Tournament Team, and Smith was the MVP.

Smith made the All-ASC first team at Flight 2. This is her third ASC award, as she was the ASC East MVP last year. She was then on the ASC second team with Ybarra for doubles Flight 1.

Childress, Kristyn Dunn, Smith, and Ybarra were all named to the All-ASC second team. Childress (Flight 3) and Dunn (Flight 6) earned All-ASC second-team honors for singles, and Smith and Ybarra (Flight 1) earned All-ASC second-team honors for doubles. It is the fourth year in a row that Childress has earned an All-ASC award, as she was the ASC East freshman of the year in 2022. It is Dunn's second award as she was All-ASC East second team last year in singles.

It is the second time that Ybarra has been named All-ASC. Last year, she made the All-ASC team and was All-ASC East first-team in flight 1.
