MARSHALL, Texas – Coming off a 4-0 weekend in Colorado, No. 14 East Texas Baptist University swept the American Southwest Conference Players of the Week awards. Graycee Mosely (offense) and
Anita Hancock (defense) earned the award for their play in the Pikes Peak Challenge at Colorado College.
Mosley combined for 63 kills, seven assists, and four service aces in four games as she earned her 13
th career ASC Offensive Player of the Week award. Hancock had 15 blocks on the weekend, including one solo block and six digs for her second career ASC Defensive Player of the Week award.
These two helped the Tigers remain perfect against a stout gauntlet, including a five-set match win in extra points against No. 22-ranked Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a 3-1 victory against the host Colorado College, an opponent that the Tigers had only beaten once a decade ago. The Tigers opened their time in Colorado Springs with a 3-0 sweep against Edgewood and closed it with a 3-0 sweep against the University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Graycee Mosley, OH, Sr., East Texas Baptist

Graycee Mosley (Troy, Texas) recorded three double-doubles averaging 4.2 kills per set with 63 total kills in a four-match weekend. She also added 55 digs for 3.67 per set with five overall blocks. She posted 14 kills and 10 digs versus Edgewood, 23 kills and 28 digs against #22 UW Eau Claire, 12 kills and 13 digs versus Colorado College, and 14 kills against UW Stevens Point. She hit .569 versus UWSP in three sets with 14 kills on 19 attacks with three errors. Her biggest match came in a top 25 match against UW Eau Claire posting 23 kills and 28 digs in five-set win.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Anita Hancock, MB, Jr., East Texas Baptist

Anita Hancock (Celina, Texas) was a key defender for ETBU in the 4-0 weekend in Colorado with 15 blocks. She averaged a block per set and had six against Colorado College, 5 versus Edgewood, and 4 against UW Stevens Point. She also recorded 29 kills with 11 against #22 UW Eau Claire with 4 digs in the top 25 match.
