MARSHALL, Texas – Earning her second career American Southwest Conference Women's soccer Defensive Player of the Week award is East Texas Baptist University's
Cadence Tischler. She was named the weekly award winner for her two shutouts at home over the weekend.
Tischerler recorded two shutouts over St. Thomas Houston, and Southwestern University, recording 10 saves.
ETBU travels to Schreiner University on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.

Cadence Tischler (The Colony, Texas) recorded two shutouts on the week with a win over St. Thomas Houston, 1-0, and a 0-0 tie versus Southwestern. She had seven saves while facing 10 overall shots with a 0.00 GAA. In the win over UST, the Celts had five shots with four on goal. She stopped shots in the 32nd, 39th, 66th, and 67th minutes. In the 0-0 tie against Southwestern, the Pirates had five shots with three on goal as she stopped shots in the 27th, 54th, and 79th minutes.
