SEARCY, Ark. – Heading to Arkansas for an NCAA Division II meet at Harding University, East Texas Baptist University finished in seventh place out of 12 teams for the Guymon Invitational. Noah Zarate had the top time for ETBU in 19^th place.
 
ETBU scored 161 points and came in ahead of Lyon College, Philander Smith, LeMoyne-Owen, Crowleys Ridge, and Rust College. Zarate ran a 21:52.35 in the four-mile race being just 20 seconds from the top 15.
 
Taylor Jordan came in 41^st place with a time of 24:13.15 and Jagger Stutchman was 42^nd at 24:25.99 for the top 45 finishers. There were almost 90 participants in the race.
 
ETBU will participate in the Rhodes College Invite on Saturday, September 20.
